Low Contrast Matte - FREE Lightroom Preset

Zachary here from NUUGraphics again. And yes, we have yet another free preset to offer you today. This free Lightroom preset will add a nice little matte effect with a slightly lowered contrast to your photos. If you’re interested, you can even learn how to create matte effects just like this one.

In case you don’t know, matte is simply the effect of crushing the shadows in the photo so that they appear flat. This is a very popular look in photos today but got its beginnings in older cameras that produced this effect by default. Even though we continue to advance in technology, we find ourselves trying to mimic technology of old. ;) But for good reason in my opinion. At least in this situation.
